I have had a wonderful career as a Librarian. Loved the research and interaction with people and being able to help them find the information they wanted. As a Librarian it’s also about organizing information in a logical sequence that allows information, or books if you will, be found because its been indexed (catalogued) in a logical sequence to be located.
I moved into Records Management after 35 years as a Librarian. Again its about research and indexing information, whether that is correspondence, reports, electronic information, or whatever, into a database for easy retrieval and searching.
With these skills and a passion for research, I ventured into the world of genealogy and began researching my family tree about 30 years ago. I love it and with the years of experience and information I have found I now want to pass it on to others.
